Submissions, of course, are welcomed especially digitized photos. There are restrictions on a submission however: All Submissions:- The webmaster reserves the right to deny any submission.
- Because this is a "labor-of-love", don't expect the item to appear quickly. It takes time to do this. I'll get to it as quickly as I can.
- You warrant that each electronic submission is virus free and that you use an anti-virus software package to ensure the file is clean.
Electronic Submissions- All digitized items (unlimited size) must be sent to the webmaster at the following address admin@rodneysparkman.org
- Include the 5 W's to describe your submission: Who, What, When, Why, and Where.
- If the photograph belongs to you, then you'll get credit for it. If you've "borrowed" the photograph, make sure you have permission from its owner to send it to this website.
- In keeping with the privacy policy, ask the people (if still living, of course) if they would allow their photo to be on the internet and more specifically on this website.
- Remember that each submission must be of historical value. Ask yourself the question, was it an important event? Did it tell something about the individual? Is it a "one-of-a-kind"?
- Alternatively you may submit them (limited to 1 MB in size or 1,048,576 bytes) via the upload utility below. If your file is large, use WinZip to compress it first. The smaller the file is, the better off you'll be. You have an upload maximum time limit of 15 minutes only.
