• 25 Dec 2007: Added the new Christmas Letter section.
• 07 Apr 2007: Added the album area where there are loose photos for both dad and his father-in-law, Aurelio Lujan Acosta.
• 30 Sep 2006: Added the information for the Lewis Napolean Sparkman family reunion.
• 25 Jun 2006: Added 60 pictures to Brenda Nicole Fuentes' page which are about her last birthday party with family.
• 17 Mar 2006: Added counters on each page to determine which pages were most popular overall.  Also, added in Favorite Links the link to the Rodney Sparkman Sr. blog.
• 14 Jan 2006: Added PayPal to the Donation page to allow for secure transactions for any contributor interested in making this website successful.
• 23 Dec 2005:  The guestbook page has now been fixed to allow your comments.  Thanks for your patience during this time when that page was down.

• 17 Mar 2005: Included the affiliate program to support the effort to keep this web site self-perpetuating.
• 20 Feb 2005: Replaced the search form with a more robust search engine.  Click on the <Search> button above to try it out.

• 28 Nov 2004:  More monetary contributions!  We appreciate that support!  Thanks a bunch! Click here to see who's contributed to the cause!  Added new items in Dad's photo gallery.  They are pictures in 1967 with Rodney Jr., Wayne, Pat, and Jimmy.  Click on this hyperlink for details.
• 05 Sep 2004:   There will be a Lewis Napoleon and Olivia Pittman Sparkman Family reunion in Stephenville, Texas on 02-03 Oct 2004.   Click on this hyperlink for details! 
• 24 Jul 2004:  Added new items in the photo photo gallery of supporting documents.  They deal with George Sparkman's bills of sale.  Also shown are the births and deaths taken from the family bible of Lewis and Mollie Sparkman
• 18 Jul 2004:  Added new items in the photo gallery i.e. John Henry Patrick's death certificate.  He was dad's grandfather.  Also added a "card of thanks" from the Pecos Enterprise under the Eulogy section.
• 16 Jul 2004:  Added famous quotations to several of the web pages as "food-for-thought".
• 11 Jul 2004:  Added the Tips for Class link-bar for the Family History (Ancestral Quest) Sunday School class that I'm teaching.  I hope that you enjoy it.
• 10 Jul 2004: The Rodney Sparkman Family Organization, a not-for-profit entity, has been formed for purposes of collecting funds for maintenance of this website.  Any monetary contribution made will be deposited into this banking account.  This will facilitate making this web site self-perpetuating.
• 30 June 2004: This website's  first monetary donation was made by Jim Sparkman of Talladega Alabama.  See his note to the webmaster!  (Left-click on the following URL:  http://www.rodneysparkman.org/donations.html).   
• 31 May 2004:  Added about a dozen or so new pictures of Rodney Sparkman and his mom (Olivia Pittman) and dad (Lewis Napoleon) and others.  Check out the photo gallery for these new photos.
• 30 May 2004:  Fixed the upload utility to allow uploading of files to the hosting web site.  Overlaid the guestlog.htm with a fresh copy.
• 22 May 2004 :  After 10 months of being in the black hole of hyperspace, we're back and better than ever!  Hopefully, we'll never have to go away again.  I've found that I've missed the exposure that this web site gives.  We still need contributions for its maintenance (Left-click on the following URL:  http://www.rodneysparkman.org/donations.html).   
• 07 Jul 2003 :  Sadly, this web site will close on 01 Aug 2003.  I will be returning to school in the fall.  A lack of contributions and interest on the part of others and a lack of time and funds on my part have forced me to make this decision.  Good-bye all.
• 27 Feb 2003 :  Split the photo gallery again into a new ancestry section.
• 26 Feb 2003 :    Split the photo gallery into two parts because it has gotten too large.  Inclusion of the "Refresh rate" for each page at 28.8 k.b.p.s.
• 25 Feb 2003 :    Broken links fixed.
• 22 Feb 2003 :    New photos added in color of dad.  Check out the photo gallery.  Elevated the "Family Reunion" page to a child-page of the main URL.  Added information pertinent to past reunions and the next Lewis Napoleon Sparkman reunion in 2005.  Modified the photo gallery to allow text associated with the photos to be displayed.
• 15 Feb 2003:    Minor corrections to text; Addition of new graphics.
• 11 Feb 2003:       Addition of links to Pecos and Olney, Texas URL's.
• 12 Dec 2002:    Fixed the RodneySpa.ged file.  It now contains all the information that the webmaster wishes to release to the public.  If there are questions about the content, please refer them to the webmaster.  Added .gif files to enhance some of the "draft" pages.
• 10 Dec 2002:    Fixed the Ancestry pages to incorporate the newest findings (the Hughes) along with notes and photos (where applicable). Added the Hughes information to the 5 generation pedigree page..
• 09 Dec 2002:    Addition of 5 generation pedigree page.
• 07 Dec 2002:    Addition of donations page.
• 30 Nov 2002:    Addition of electronic upload to the submissions form.
• 29 Nov 2002:    Fixed the Guestbook and added the photo gallery.
• 28 Nov 2002:    Addition of the marquee indicating Dad would have been 84 on December 1st.
• 01 Nov 2002:    Addition of the Family Reunion page.  
• 28 Oct 2002:    Added information to the Submissions page on how to submit to this website.
• 26 Oct 2002:    Fixed the Search screen.  It is now fully functional.  Try it out and let me know what you think.
• 19 Oct 2002:  The Sparkman family reunion was held on the 19th of October of 2002 in Stephenville, Texas.  Anyone who has photographs is welcomed to submit them to include on this web site.  
• 19 Oct 2002:    Fixed the Feedback screen. 
• 17 Oct 2002:    Included the necessary language in the Privacy Policy; added the eulogy page; added more photos to several pages.
• 16 Oct 2002:    Included legal language in Terms of Use page.
